What is the Foundation of Your Life?

We all view the world through our own lens. Some of us see the world based on our experiences. If something feels good, it is good. Some of us based on our education. If we are told something is good, it is good. But seeing the world in either of these ways is subjective, as we each feel and learn different things. So what do we do when we disagree?

A worldview asks the question "What is real?" and from there develops our beliefs, values and behaviours around that belief. In the first week of this series we will explore what it means to have a biblical worldview and where we get that view from.

Do You Spread God's Message?

God never ceases to call people to carry His message of salvation. The big picture is that God has always been and is still calling people to repentance. He appoints people to carry his message - including you and I. The story of Jonah isn't about a man who gets swallowed by a big fish - it's about God's reckless love and compassion.

Do You Have Hope?

Micah gives us a message of hope. In a society that appeared economically strong, but was rotting from within - Micah looked to God with hope. Maybe we should do the same?

Questioning God

Questions like "how could God do this?" are good to have. These kinds of questions come from a place of strong faith. When we can't line up our situation with the goodness of God - it's good to bring those questions to him. Though evil, sickness, and pain exist for now, God ultimately works all things towards good.

Seek Good

When we seek good, and maintain justice, God will be with us us. Even when the culture around us is spiraling out of control, God will have mercy on the faithful. God gives us the opportunity to turn back to him.
