All human beings are made in the image of God and on the path of redemption through the Son -Jesus. And because of that all lives deserve love, respect and value. But when one life is devalued based on race or any other reason, all lives are devalued. Racism is an evil in our hearts that needs to be purged. The church needs to be a voice that pursues justice in an unjust world. No one should fear for their lives when they encounter people who are meant to protect them, just because of the colour of their skin.
