The people we walk with shape the people we become. Proverbs says a lot about friendship because our relationships influence our direction. Good friends encourage us, sharpen us, stand with us in difficult times, and help us become wiser. We need to be thoughtful about both the friends we choose and the kind of friend we choose to become.
Choose Your Path
Proverbs 3 pictures life as a path. We are all headed somewhere, but we do not always know the best way to get there. Wisdom begins when we stop assuming we can navigate life entirely on our own and learn to trust God with the direction of our lives.
Psalm 34
Today we’re in Psalm 34 where David brings forward an illustration about who God is and how we can trust Him. He shifts the question from “how do I get out of something” to “how do I trust God when I can’t control what happens next?”.
Psalm 121
Where does our help come from? Sometimes we feel like God is not listening but this Psalm reminds us that He is, and that we need only to be faithful to see how He will help us through our struggles.
Psalm 1
Today we start our new series in Psalms. In Chapter 1, we're invited to reflect on what path out life is taking. Join us as we explore what the best way forward is.
Planting the Future
In this final message of the "Creation Waits" series, we explore God's promise to renew creation and consider how we are called to live while we wait.
Earth Groans
Creation bears the scars of humanity's sin, but the store does not end there. In this message we explore how the gospel impacts not only people but all of creation, and what it means for followers of Jesus to participate in God's work of restoration.
Made Good
What if one of God's plans for people is that they would care for the world? Join us as we discover what it means to care for God's creation as an act of worship and faithful discipleship.
A Part for Everyone
Today we are talking about how we each have a part to play in the church. No matter how young or old we are, we are all part of the church and Jesus has a purpose for us.
