A message of Hope for Christmas.
Your History Won't Change God's Plans
Today, we look at the genealogy of Jesus in the book of Matthew. As we read through it, we can see it's full of blemishes.
Our life experience can feel like it's full of blemishes too, but God is still working in spite of them.
God Knows When to Show Up
He became what we are, so that we might become what He is. Join us as we start our celebration of the Christmas season.
I Want to Change
Jesus offers us an opportunity to move forward and be different. But do you want to? Are you afraid of change? Have you become comfortable where you are? When we worship on Sundays there's still more for us. To experience the fullness God wants for us we need to worship Him, submit to Him, imitate Him, and proclaim Him. We can only do it through Him.
The God Who Fights For Us
When God invites us to join Him in what He is doing, the next move is on us. Dan MacKinnon of the Africa Inland Mission joins us as a guest speaker again this weekend.
The God of Breakthroughs
Our God is The Master of the Breakthrough. He uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things by living ordinary lives through His extraordinary power.
Invite Jesus
When Jesus' disciples were in a storm, what did they do? What should we do when our lives are not going as planned? Are we thinking of our difficult times with the right mindset?
Fix Your Eyes on Jesus
Just as things seem to be taking steps forward, it seems like we take another step back. With everything happening we might wonder when we might get back to normal. We can feel like we are on a long journey asking "Are we there yet?" And the answer is no. So what do we do in these disorienting times? Times we want to be over, but no one knows when they will end? In this series, we will explore some ideas found in the Bible that can help us to keep stepping forward in these disorienting times.
The only way that I can deal with the complexity of the chaos is to have clarity on Christ.
Keep Living
Just as things seem to be taking steps forward, it seems like we take another step back. With everything happening we might wonder when we might get back to normal. We can feel like we are on a long journey asking "Are we there yet?" And the answer is no. So what do we do in these disorienting times? Times we want to be over, but no one knows when they will end? In this series, we will explore some ideas found in the Bible that can help us to keep stepping forward in these disorienting times.
TIf we are waiting for everything to be just the way we want it, we will wait forever. When things are not the way we think they should be we need to still keep living.
