From August 16-26, 2024 a team from Bromley will be travelling to El Salvador to work with Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) and their partner, the Baptist Association of El Salvador. They will be working with them on agricultural projects, and serving at a local church. They are going to learn from and encourage Christians who are living in El Salvador. This trip helps us to gain a greater understanding of what it looks like to stand with other believers around the globe, and to learn from them to see how we can serve God in our local communities.

What are CBM Sent Trips?

CBM Sent trips is their Short-Term Mission experience. The partnership relationship CBM has with the organizations they work with defines these experiences. The purpose of these trips is to learn and serve alongside people living in the places they go.

What project Will the mission team be working on?

The team will be working with the local denomination on some agricultural projects they have developed. These projects help people living move out of poverty and develop a livelihood to support themselves and their community. This may include physical labour such as digging and plowing. It may also include less physically challenging tasks.

We will also be partnering with a local church in a children’s program for some of the time.
