The Coldest Night of the Year is on Saturday, February 23, 2019. CNOY is a family-friendly national walk-a-thon that helps you raise funds for charities that serve hungry, homeless and hurting people in your town, and in 136 communities across Canada.
We are walking in support of the Ottawa Mission who provides food, shelter, clothing, and life-changing programs to people who are hungry, homeless and lost. Last year, the Ottawa Mission served an average of 1,307 meals each day and provided shelter to 220 people every night. Join this year’s walk and help hundreds of people receive food, shelter and hope for a better future!
Getting involved is easy! Here’s how:
Our small groups are each going to form a team and walk together this year. You can find and join your team here.
If you aren’t part of a small group yet, no problem! You can join the “BRBC Walkers” team here and be a part of it! Click here to join now! You’ll need to create an account (or sign into an existing one) and then you will be added to the team.
Once you’ve registered (or signed in) and joined your team, you’ll get your very own campaign page where you can track your fundraising progress. From there, you can invite your friends, co-workers and family members to support your walk! They can make their donations online or you can collect their information on the pledge form (available here).
You can share the event on Facebook too! Visit facebook.com/brbcottawa/events and share the event details and a link to your donation page!
